FRONTEIRA: homage to Portuguese filmmaker and three Portuguese short films competing

The FRONTEIRA - International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival will feature the work of Portuguese filmmaker Rita Azevedo Gomes and three Portuguese short-films are competing at the festival.
Between 16th and 25th March Portuguese cinema goes to Goiânia, Brasil, where Rita Azevedo Gomes will be homaged and three short-films will be competing: UM CAMPO DE AVIAÇÃO, by Joana Pimenta, A BRIEF HISTORY OF PRINCESS X, by Gabriel Abrantes, and SETEMBRO, by Leonor Noivo, a coproduction between Portugal and Bulgaria.

The homage to Rita Azevedo Gomes, Portuguese filmmaker with a professional career of over 30 years, will include a retrospective of her main work.

In its 3rd edition, for this year the FRONTEIRA - International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival selected 6 feature length films and 16 short films, from different countries such as Portugal, Brazil, Colombia, Equator, Argentina, Mexico, Syria, USA, Jamaica, Spain, France, United Kingdom and Philippines. The Portuguese short-films A BRIEF HISTORY OF PRINCESS X and SETEMBRO will be making their premieres in Latin America.
