Company Registration

By application of Law no. 55/2012, of 6th of September and Decree-Law no. 124/2013, of 30th of August, Art. 58 and 59, the following are subject to registration in ICA, in accordance with the Regulation of registration of cinematographic and audiovisual companies and other entities: natural or legal persons with their headquarters or permanent establishment in national territory whose business is the production, distribution and exhibition, as well as the laboratories and studios of filming, dubbing and subtitling, and equipment and technical means companies.

For the purposes of applying for the support promoted by ICA, filmmakers, scriptwriters, educational establishments, other non-profit legal persons and legal persons with their headquarters or permanent establishment  in any member State of the European Union or of the European Economic Area, are also subject to registration.

Registration is done electronically, at the request of the interested parties, on ICA's website, and registrations may be made according to the social purpose and the activities listed on that site.
